John Baptist Rico of the Conception entered the Trinitarian community of Toledo (Spain) on this day in the year 1580.

John Baptist Garcķa of the Conception received the Trinitarian habit and began his Novitiate in the house of Toledo on this day in the year 1580.  It was at this time that he changed his name to John Baptist Rico.  He was 18 years old.  During his Novitiate year, he lived with Trinitarians who were outstanding for learning and holiness:  Simon de Rojas  ~  Bernardo de Monroy and Juan Palacios, later martyred in Algeria  ~  Juan de Vargas (Minister of the community) and Alonso de Reiros (his Novice Master).

John Baptist Rico of the Conception made his religious profession in the Trinitarian house of Toledo on this day in the year 1581.  The profession book of the house of Toledo, containing his signed (Juan Bautista Rico) profession formula, is conserved in the Archives of San Carlino in Rome:  ms 149.  He was 19 years old.

Anna Maria Taigi died in Rome on this day in the year 1837.  Her remains are now in a side chapel in the Basilica of San Crisogono (Rome).
