During this month in 1263, after completing the revision of the Trinitarian Rule of Life requested by the Minister and Brothers of the Order and mandated by Urban IV, Bishop Reginald of Paris, Abbot Robert of St-Victor and Abbot Thibaud of St-Genevieve issued their letter of presentation of the revised Rule.  This letter gives the complete text of the revised Rule as well as the full text of the 1262 mandate which they had received from Urban IV.

On this day in 1594, the Interprovincial Chapter of Spain, convoked by Fr. Diego de Guzmán and held in Valladolid, made the decision that each Trinitarian province in Spain – Castile, Aragon, Andalusia – was to designate two or three houses where those who wished to live a more austere religious life (the Recollection Observance) could come together with the permission of their Ministers Provincial.

The 3rd Provincial Chapter of the Spanish Discalced was held in Valdepeñas on this day in the year 1612.  Fr. Gabriel de la Asunción was elected to succeed Fr. Francisco de Santa Ana as Minister Provincial.

Simon de Rojas was elected Minister Provincial of the Province of Castile (Spain) on this day in 1621.

On this day in 1198, Innocent III issued his letter Cum a nobis petitur from St. Peter in Rome, granting apostolic protection to the Trinitarian Brothers and to their possessions, ecclesiastical and otherwise.  Specially named are the House of the Holy Trinity at Cerfroid, the property of Planels with its church and the house in Bourg-la-Reine.  This papal Bull is addressed to Brother John and the other Brothers of the House of the Holy Trinity at Cerfroid in the diocese of Meaux.
